Isaiah’s presence has long been felt, and for the last five days of being overdue we couldn’t wait for the great day of delivery (or is it deliverance?) to come!
God graciously gave us our son early Monday morning. So now we see him, this little guy who has been growing in the safety of Amy’s womb for much of the past year. It reminds us of another relationship that will one day be face to face, not too long from now. (Rev 22.20)
He loves to sleep. And eat. Among other things. It seems everything is working just fine, including some new aspects about boys which are really something for us to get used to. 🙂
I won’t go into the labor specifics, other than to say the Lord gave Amy a calm and even relaxed way about her, until about an hour before the baby came – and even then she did so well! Thanks to all who were praying for us! One really senses the LORD’s nearness and personal presence through the whole experience.
Sierra loves her little brother – and will make an amazing sister and second mommy. 🙂
We praise God for his faithfulness, and pray our son would grow in faith in HIM, as per the verse we gave him:
The LORD lives!

He is BEAUTIFUL!!! Oh wow, he is amazing. I am in love with him already and I can’t wait to hold the little guy in my arms. You all just look so fantastic, like a family even more complete than you were before. I’m so glad everything went well …

Wow! He is too cute you guys and Sierra looks like such a big girl! I still remember here when she was that little baby in the carseat at the first SWF meeting!!!! Awww… I know she will be a great helper! I hope y’all get some rest these next few weeks! We love you!
